Kinzie's Closet Figure Skating Store

The width measurements below are determined by measuring all the way around the ball of the foot, or the circumference.  If you have measured only the flat bottom part of your foot, then you will not be able to determine the width you need.  The Jackson Skate Sizing Charts below use width measurements for ball circumference.  If you need help with your width measurements, please read our Measuring Feet For Skates page.  You can also email us with your sizing questions at

SP-Teri is a fantastic skating boot.  Made with high quality material.  In order to find the proper size in an SP-Teri figure skating boot, you will need to measure your feet for length and width.  Use the SP-Teri sizing charts to find the best fit for your foot.  SP-Teri is a semi-custom boot that can be made to your specifications.  It typically takes 4-6 weeks for the boots to be made and shipped to you.  However, it is worth the wait.  They are made to your foot specifications and the SP-Teri brand will not let you down.  You will have a quality skate that will last for a long time.

SP-Teri Skate Sizing Charts are for SP-Teri skates only.  They should not be used for any other brand of figure or ice skate to determine skate size.  You cannot determine the size of a SP-Teri figure skate by comparing it with your street shoe sizing.  To find your proper size in an SP-Teri figure skate, you must take measurements of your feet for length and width. Once your know your foot measurements, you can then use the SP-Teri Skate Sizing Charts to find your size in SP-Teri ice skates.

When measuring your feet for skates, we strongly recommend that you have another person read the tape measure for you. The measurements need to be fairly exact.

If you need help measuring your feet, please see ourMeasuring Feet for Skates page.  If you are unsure how to use the SP-Teri Skate Sizing Charts, contact us at

We have provided the SP-Teri Skate Sizing Charts, shown below, to assist you in finding your correct size in an SP-Teri figure skate.  Kinzie's Closet is not responsible for skates that have been sized incorrectly due to improper foot length and width measurements.

SP-Teri sizes their figure skates for a snug and competitive fit. This means that the toe will be slightly touching the inside of the boot.  The SP-Teri Skate Sizing Charts have been calibrated for a competitive fit and the sizing reflects the insole length.  Some people do not like this type of fit.  Children will also need a little extra room for growth.  If you do not like this type of fit or need a little growth room, then go a half size up.

Please note: We do not recommend figure skate sizes that are larger than 1/4" longer than your foot length measurements.  Figure skates that are too large can cause early break down and will not support the ankles and feet correctly.   We will be happy to help you with sizing if you are unsure about your measurements.  Please feel free to e-mail us at kinziescloset@kinziescloset.comwith any questions you may have.
