Use the Edea Skate Sizing Charts to find the best fit for your feet. You cannot properly determine the size of an Edea figure skate by comparing it with your street shoe sizing. Even thought we give comparison US sizes in the sizing charts below, this is intended for gaining approximate sizing only. In other words, you know you're in the ball park. However, in order to get the most accurate size for your Edea Figure Skates, you must take measurements of your feet for length and width. Edea sizing is measured in centimeters. When measuring your feet for skates, we strongly recommend that you have another person read the tape measure for you as the measurements need to be fairly exact. Once your know your foot measurements, you can then use the Edea Skate Sizing Charts to find your size in Edea ice skates. If you need help measuring your feet, please see our Measuring Feet for Skates page.
We have provided the Edea Sizing Charts, shown below, to assist you in finding your correct size in an Edea figure skate. However, Kinzie's Closet is not responsible for skates that have been sized incorrectly due to improper foot length and width measurements. The Edea Sizing Charts are for Edea skates only and should not be used for any other brand of figure or ice skate to determine skate size.
TAKE YOUR FOOT MEASUREMENT IN CM THEN ADD 1 CM TO GET YOUR BOOT SIZE.
For instance if your measurements are 17cm, then you would want to get Edea Figure Skates in size 18.0 or 180. The Edea size charts take out the decimal, so instead of 18.0 cm, the boot size is 180. Adding 1.0 cm to your foot length does allow some room for growth if your skater is still growing. Professional skaters typically like a competitive fit, which means their toes may be touching the inside of the boot. If this is the fit you prefer, then add only .5 cm to your foot length to find your boot size. For instance if your foot measurement is 17 cm, then the professional skaters will choose a boot size of 17.5 (or boot size 175). The approximate U.S. Sizing below is for reference only. To get the most accurate boot size, you must measure the length and width of your feet.
We will be happy to help you with sizing if you are unsure about your measurements. Please feel free to e-mail us at email@example.com with any questions you may have.
