Edea Figure Skate Bramd  Information

Risport are a great brand of skates that are made in Italy.  They were developed for Russian skaters learning how to figure skate.  The Risport ice skates and Risport figure skate boots are made with high quality material and are heat moldable.  The Risport Venus ice skates are good for beginner skaters and have a beginner blade attached.  The Risport Antares figure skates also have blades attached and are for skaters taking skating lessons.  The Risport RF Light figure skating boots, the RF Light Electra figure skating boots, the Risport RF3 figure skating boots and the RF3 Pro figure skating boots are for the intermediate skater learning single jumps.  The RF3 Pro, the Risport Royal Pro figure skating boots, the Risport RF3 Super figure skating boots, The Risport RF2 figure skating boots and the Risport RF2 Extra figure skating boots are for the advanced skater doing double jumps that needs more support and durability.  For the elite skaters the Risport Royal Elite figure skating boots, the Risport RF1 figure skating boots and the Risport RF1 Exclusive figure skating boots will provide all the support for double and triple jumps.  Risport ice skates, figure skating boots and figure skates will fit most feet and provide an all around alternative to Edea figure skating boots.  Most skaters are now finding the Risport figure skates provide more support than Edea skates and will allow skaters to save their jumps as compared to the Edea skates.

Not sure what skate you need?  Check out our Choice Guide for Edea Figure Skates below.  This guide will help you narrow your choice down to the Edea figure skate that will be best for you based on your skill level.   The lower level boots will be lest stiff which means they will have less support.  The higher your skill level, the stiffer (more supportive) the boot will be.  The stiffness ratings vary a little with each brand.  If you would like the full comparison guide that includes all brands as well as other country's skating levels, Click on our

Edea Figure Skates are beautifully made in Treviso Italy which has been home to the finest shoemakers and craftsmen since 1800's.  Edea skates are available in a variety of models for figure skaters at all figure skating levels and are a favorite among top world figure skating champions.  Edea boots first hit the ice 02/02/2002 and have been making a big impact on skaters ever since.

Edea boots are designed to be lighter.  They are made from hi-tech modern materials which allow skaters to push the boundaries.  Less weight means that skaters can go faster and jump higher than ever before.  In addition to less weight, Edea has made adjustments to the design of their boots which no other brand has provided.  The footbed is contained inside the wrapped sides of the boot structure and means the footbed is thinner.  Since the footbed is thinner, it provides a lower center of gravity and greater control for the skater.  In addition, because the footbed is molded, there is 100% consistency in sizing.

All Edea boots are heat shapeable, have forged hooks that are sewn in and has a fantastic fitting heel pocket.  It holds the foot in place even while jumping.  Edea provides their support laterally but allows the tongue to be bend which helps avoid side creasing of the boots.
